Q. What is Partnershop?
A. PartnerShop is the source for all approved Windows Mobile and Windows Phone retail marketing assets and resources.
Q. There is so much on the site ­ how do I find what I need?
A. PartnerShop has search functionality enabling you to filter items by type, category, business or retail criteria.
Q. Is there a way I can see what type of assets are available on the site without going to the site?
A. Yes. The Retail Execution Guide provides an overview of the assets available, along with guidance on messaging, customization and agency support for your respective market.
Q. I’ve searched the site and found a couple assets that I can use – how do I get the native source files to make a few changes?
A. After you have found the assets that you want to use, you or your agency can download all the native files directly from PartnerShop by clicking on the download button to the right of the asset. If there is no download button, please contact David Gunasegaram at Microsoft (email: davidgun@microsoft.com.)
Q. What agency do I use to make changes or to localize the assets?
A. It is up to you which agency you choose to use. This can be an agency within your market or you can use the agency of choice – Momentum Worldwide. Most regions have a local Momentum office. Contact information for your local Momentum representative can be found in the Retail Execution Guide.
Q. Once I’ve made my changes, do I need to get approval from corporate to proceed?
A. If the changes are substantial, we recommend the materials be reviewed by Channel Services and LCA, especially if you are deviating from the approved messaging. If changes are minimal – no review is needed. However, if you change the overall look and feel of the asset(s), or create your own assets, the brand team will need to review to make sure if fits within the overall brand strategy. Q. Who pays for the customization, localization, production or printing of the assets I want to use?
A. All markets are responsible for any customization, localization, and production or printing of assets.
Q. There are assets that require hardware that I‘d like to use in my partner’s retail environment – what do I need to do?
A. The first step is to work with the partner to see if this hardware is provided. If not, you will need to order and provide it with the printed asset. Most printers will be able to secure the hardware for you.
Q. I'd like to place the kiosk into my Partner's stores - are these already created?
A. No. But they have been designed and engineered. To place an order for the kiosk and its components, contact Claudine Sait of Momentum Worldwide (email: claudine.sait@momentumww.com).
Q. My partner would like to place the retail video in their stores. How can I customize or localize it?
A. The retail video for 6.1 has already been localized into several languages: UK English, German, Spanish, Italian, French, Dutch, and Swedish. The 6.5 video will be available in English in August, with localized versions to follow shortly thereafter. Q. I need to create marketing materials that are partner driven. How can I do this?
A. The Retail Execution Guide provides details on how to market Windows Mobiles phones no matter which company or partner is the lead brand.
Q. I need a password to access logos. How do I get one?
A. If you are a Mobile Operator please send e-mail to wmpshelp@microsoft.com. All other partners should contact their local Microsoft representative.
